I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in social work in 2020 from Wayne State University and obtained my master’s degree in social work in 2024, also from Wayne State. In my career I have worked with Ceasefire Detroit, a program through the Detroit Police Department to prevent gang violence, I have volunteered many times at the Detroit Rescue Mission preparing and serving meals, I have worked with diaper banks in Detroit preparing and delivering diapers and supplies, and I have helped raise money for the American Heart Association and Special Olympics Michigan. My grandmother and Godmother are both social workers. They both have influenced my academic and career endeavors.
