Life in Detroit hits different. Whether it’s stress, anxiety, depression, or just feeling stuck, we’re here. No waitlists, no judgment, no $250 price tags.
- How it works
Getting started is simpler than you think
No referral needed. No awkward intake process. Here’s what happens when you reach out.
- Step 01
Call or book online
Takes about 2 minutes. We verify your insurance and find a time that works for you, including evenings and weekends. Appointments are usually available within 7 days.
- Step 02
Your first session
The first session might feel a bit like an interview. Your therapist will ask a lot of questions to get an understanding of what’s going on and how best to help you. Afterwards, they’ll put together a custom plan tailored specifically to you.
- Step 03
Start seeing change
You’ll typically meet with your therapist once per week. You can discuss whatever you like during these sessions, and your therapist will have a structured plan to help guide you. All you have to do is stay consistent and trust the process!
- Real Talk
You don't have to hit rock bottom to ask for help.
Most of our clients aren’t in crisis, they’re just tired of feeling the way they’ve been feeling. That’s enough of a reason.
Can't stop overthinking?
That 3am brain spiral isn't a character flaw. It's your nervous system stuck in overdrive. Therapy gives you actual tools to turn it down.
Running on empty?
When you're exhausted but can't rest, that's burnout — not laziness. We help you figure out what's draining you and what to do about it.
Holding it all together for everyone else?
You're the strong one. The reliable one. But who's checking on you? It's okay to need a space that's just yours.
Not sure if therapy is "for you"?
Most of our clients felt the same way before they started. You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis. You just need to be ready to try.
- FAQ
Common questions
01 - What does the first session look like?
It’s a conversation, not an interrogation. Your therapist gets to know you, what’s going on, and what you want to work on. No homework, no pressure.
02 - Does Medicaid cover individual therapy?
Yes, fully covered. We verify your insurance before your first session. Most clients pay $0 out of pocket.
03 - How often would I need to come?
Usually weekly, but it depends on your schedule and situation. If you need more frequent sessions, we can accommodate. If you need to cut down to every other week or once per month, that’s also fine.
04 - Can I do virtual sessions?
05 - What if I don't know what to talk about?
That’s more common than you think, and it’s completely fine. Your therapist knows how to guide the conversation. You don’t need to show up with an agenda.
You deserve a space that's just yours.
Two minutes on the phone. That’s all it takes to get started. We’ll handle the insurance, find you a time, and match you with a therapist who gets it.
